Long, unhurried strokes at a light to medium pressure, covering the whole body rather than one area. It asks nothing of you, which is why it is the usual pick for a first appointment.
Slower hands and firmer pressure, held on the tight bands across the shoulders, neck and lower back that a gentler session glides over. Say early on if it is more than you want.
No oil and no table. You stay clothed on a floor mat while the therapist guides you through assisted stretches and presses. It feels less like being massaged and more like being moved.
You choose a scented oil blend before anything begins, and the session is built around pace rather than pressure. Pick it when the aim is to slow down, not to work into a sore shoulder.
Smooth warmed stones are laid along the back, then worked over the muscles alongside the therapist’s hands. The warmth lets firm pressure arrive gradually rather than all at once.

The banya is the part of the menu that surprises people. It is not a massage, and not a sauna visit either — it is a bathing ritual taken in rounds, with time out of the heat built into it.
Where a massage is one continuous hour on a table, the banya moves you between hot and cool several times over. It is also the least expensive treatment we offer, at ₹2,500 for 60 minutes.
You warm up gradually. This is the stage most first-timers try to hurry.
Once you are properly warm, a bundle of leafy birch branches is swept over you in rhythm, carrying heat and scent across the skin.
You step out and let your breathing settle before going back in. The break is part of the ritual, not an interruption to it.
Tea at the end, unhurried, while the heat works its way back out.
The five minutes before a session begins matter more than people expect. That is when you say what you actually want — far easier than lying there hoping the pressure changes. Raise any of these at the start, or partway through if something is not right.
